We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The spa facilities were amazing and the spa area was very quiet which was exactly what I wanted. We both got a massage, this was very good. Staff were lovely and experienced. The relaxation room after your massage was excellent, there was hot drinks and blankets, a view to the Scottish countryside was also right in front of you which helped us relax. I used the gym which was clean and easy to figure out. We had afternoon tea with a glass of bubbly. This was all very tasty and we had a lovely view over the Scottish country side. We also had breakfast in this same area. Breakfast was well stocked and had everything you needed and more. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. We had dinner in the bar area on the first night. Cocktails were tasty. We both had steak which was well cooked. Check in and check out was fuss free and all staff were attentive.

Beautiful accommodations with a good sized room and bathroom. The amenities at this hotel are outstanding. I took advantage of the laundry room available fior guest use. That was very convenient to have access to. The spa is also a wonderful experience. Lovely grounds for walking or taking advantage of the tennis courts and putting green. The lobby was amazing with lots of places to sit, enjoy a beverage, or converse in front of a wood burning fireplace. There’s a bar and restaurant on site with a great menu so you really don’t have to leave the hotel at all! But if you do there’s plenty to see and do in the beautiful town of Pitlochry.

Hotel was beautiful and the grounds were meticulously maintained and designed. Although a hugely daunting structure, the surroundings gardens and flora help blend the hotel into it's perthshire surroundings. This was our first time at this hotel, but from the moment we walked in to the hotel, we loved it. Gave some Shining vibes up on the 3rd floor due to the style, but we really enjoyed this. Staff were very very helpful also. The downstairs sitting area once through reception was cosy and inviting, with fireplaces on both sides. The decor was very much the style we wanted from a hotel in Perthshire :)

What a treat! Complimentary honey-whiskey at check-in set the tone. Just walking through the lobby to the lift put us in such a pleasant state. Room was spacious with just the right mattress and a sleek, modern bath. Drinks on the patio followed by a stroll on the grounds. Opted for dinner in the pub where a guitar player kept spirits up while the volume allowed conversation. Chip and putt at sunset was an unexpected gift. Breakfast in the great dining room offered an over abundance of options while the full wall of windows framed the beauty of the landscape perch.

We go to the Atholl Palace every year and it never disappoints, be it a hotel room, the gate house or a lodge. This time we stayed in the Woodlands 'lodge' which is actually a house with two large bedrooms, a big kitchen and a decent living area. It looked recently decorated and was very clean, with a welcome basket of tea, coffee, bread etc which was a nice touch. The hotel itself is lovely, with old world Victorian charm, blazing fires and a nice pool. The views from the hotel are beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous.
